Station road just outside Reading station was cordoned off this evening Saturday, July 20 with a considerable amount of police cars attending the scene.
The public reported that up to seven police cars were seen outside Reading station with several ambulances in attendance also.
The cordon remains in place outside the station's entrance and just outside Thames Tower.
No roads are closed and there is still full access to the station. Bike ranks at the front are cordoned off but bike owners can speak to the police to be let through.
Screens were also seen being put up around two emergency services vehicles.
The police have been contacted for clarification and comment. This article will be updated once we know more.
