A huge police presence has descended near Tilehurst Train Station due to a ‘big incident’.
In the afternoon of Sunday, July 21, officers from Thames Valley Police as well as pathologists attended the scene along Station Road.
It is not clear as to why they have gathered, but the Reading Chronicle has contacted TVP for more information.
It is believed to be a separate incident from what happened in the evening of Saturday, July 20, when a 60-year-old man was attacked outside Reading Train Station.
They were treated at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital where they remain.
It’s been revealed that they are in a critical condition.
A 39-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested in the aftermath.
We will bring you more on this as it happens.
