Gathering five year’s worth of sold house price data across the Reading postcodes, Kendrick Gate, Shinfield Road and New Lane Hill have some of the highest-valued homes across the region.
Some of the cheapest residential streets in Reading include Coley Avenue, Talbot Court and Pevensey Court.
Professional fast sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the Reading postcodes.
On Kendrick Gate (RG30), 3 properties sold for an average of £1,193,333. Shinfield Road (RG2), 5 properties sold for an average of £1,107,300. Also, New Lane Hill (RG30) saw 3 properties sell for an average of £1,041,666.
Some of the cheapest streets include Coley Avenue (RG1) (where 4 properties sold for an average of £85,562), Talbot Court (RG1) (where 6 properties sold for an average of £96,816) and Pevensey Court (RG2) (where 3 properties sold for an average of £101,666).
Commenting on the data Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “to keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.”
“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Maiden Erlegh Drive (RG6) sold for £1,480,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £72,000 and under on Engineers Court (RG2), Howard Villas (RG2) and Thorney House (RG2),” he concludes.
