Thames Valley Police have seized £1700 worth of drugs after conducting patrols in the Tilehurst area.
Following a brawl that took place on Tuesday, July 23, police put a Section 60 order in place which gave officers the power to stop and search an individual surrounding Eddleston Way.
During their searches, an electric dirt bike was spotted trying to flee the scene.
After following the alleged drug dealer on foot down an alleyway, they were swiftly ‘taken down’.
Officers from Team 3 ICR confirmed on their social media that an arrest was made when the large amount of class A and class B were located
A post on the TVP Reading Facebook page said: “…remember, if you are out drug dealing in Reading, we only have to be lucky once to catch you whereas you have to be lucky every time... You could be next!
“Please continue to report any drug dealing activity to us.”
