A man in his forties was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a collision between a black Honda Jazz and a black motorcycle.
The incident took place at around 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 25 on Berkeley Avenue near the junction with Shaw Road.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses of the collision where the man was seriously injured.
Investigating officer PC Ben Eastment, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this difficult time.
“I am also asking anyone who may have been driving in the area and may have dash cam footage of the collision, or any footage leading up to the collision, to please come forward. You can upload dash cam footage to our online portal.
“Alternatively, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference 43240355133.”
