A road in Tilehurst will be closed for six days this month for electricity works.
Drivers will not have access to the stretch of Langley Road between its junctions with Old Bath Road and Halls Road from Saturday, August 17 to Friday, August 23.
The closure will be in place for the duration of the allocated period, with residential access only and diversion routes indicated.
It will allow Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) to install a new service connection on the stretch and, according to a notice from Buckinghamshire Council, will not permit blue light access.
The main alternative route will be shown on signage and take motorists on a six-minute diversion down Halls Road, The Meadway, New Lane Hill, Hogarth Avenue and Bath Road.
