A college in Reading has taken part in a wonderful scheme that looks to improve the quality of our environment.

Through promoting recycling and other environmentally friendly activities, Reading College believes that we can create a better planet for future generations.

A spokesperson for the college thanked Reading Borough Council for donating bags of compost as a part of their Re3grow Community Scheme.

The spokesperson for Reading College posted multiple photos of their SEND Supported Foundation students helping out with the planting new flower beds near the entrance to the college.

The spokesperson posted the pictures along with the following caption:

"A big thank you to re3 Recycling who donated 25 bags of compost to us via Reading Borough Council's Re3grow Community Scheme.

"Our SEND Supported Foundation students have enjoyed using the compost in their garden and planted some flower beds near the college entrance.
