The Red Arrows will be performing a display to celebrate their 60th birthday this weekend and on the way to the event in , the pilots will be taking a route through Berkshire.

The display, which has been dubbed the Wendover Flypast will begin at RAF Odiham and travel with flair through various countries across the UK, and finish at Blackpool Airport Transit where they will perform their breathtaking display.

The RAF pilots twist and turn whilst in the air, trailing red, white, and blue smoke behind them.

The journey will start at 4:45 pm on Friday, August 9, and reach its destination at 5:29 pm.

Exact times for seeing the Red Arrows over Berkshire

Blackpool Airshow will take place on August 10 and 11 but the Red Arrows will be in the skies from August 9 as they make their way through Berkshire

It’s important to note that these timings and routes could change because of the weather or for another reason.

On August 9, the Red Arrows will be travelling from RAF Odiham to Blackpool Airport Transit and they’ll do the Wendover Flypast, according to the Military Airshows website.

At 4:47pm, just after their launch they will be spotted North East of Heckfield just on the outskirts on Berkshire, to the South of Reading.

At 4:48pm, the RAF pilots will be flying directly over Reading for anyone out and about and looking out for the Red Arrows in the sky.

After Reading, the pilots will be seen making their way to the West of Henley-On-Thames and onto their different points in Buckinghamshire.
