A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder following an assault outside Reading Train Station.
Ryan Basden, 26, of no fixed abode appeared at Reading Magistrates Court today (21/8) where he was charged following the death of a Tilehurst man three weeks after the attack.
The incident originally occurred at Reading Train Station at around 8:45pm on July 20.
The victim, John Donovan, was rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he sadly died on August 11.
Basden will appear at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, August 22.
Officers also arrested a 39-year-old man from Slough on suspicion of Section 18 – GBH with intent and a 20-year-old woman from Reading on suspicion of inflicting GBH on 20 July. They both remain on police bail until 13 October.
