Pupils across the town have done immensely well after today, GSCE Results Day 2024, it was revealed that they achieved an exceptional number of grades.
A spokesperson for The Bulmershe School said: "Well done year 11, a great set of results! Nearly 50% of students have gained a grade 5 or above in English and Maths.
"69% of all your grades were a grade 4 and above. This is above the national average. Brilliant! The results are a reflection of your hard work and perseverance. Enjoy the moment.
"As always, I would like to thank all the parents and staff for their commitment and support in gaining these results. THANK YOU!"
Aditya made the most progress since joining the school, making over 7 grades of progress across all his subjects. Truly amazing!
Zi Ming, Maxou, Samuella, Ishan, Holly, Iona, Aniya, Shayaan, Ryo all made two or more grades worth of progress across all their subjects since joining the school. Adam, Aniya, Lois, Oliver B, Loa, Carlito, Rebekah, Zoe, Alfie, Jake, Caitlin B, Arshdeep, Yusayrah, Amelia, Skyie, Moosa, Param, Melissa, Rudi, Sofia, Millie, Tiago, Eve, Amy G, Jujhar, Amrita, Lily and Samuel N all made over one grade of progress in all of their subjects since joining the school. Well done! A fantastic achievement!
As always, all the departments have success stories but Computer Science and Statistics have performed within or exceeding the top 25% of schools nationally.

Waingels is very pleased to report another strong set of GCSE results again this year – maintaining and improving on our exceptional performance from previous years. Overall, Year 11 students at Waingels achieved above national average of a Strong Pass of Grade 5 across all of their subjects.
Core subjects accomplished some impressive results including more students achieving a Grade 5+ in both English and in Maths.
Therefore, significantly positively impacting the life chances of students and their ability to study courses of their choice at our Sixth Form and beyond. Once again, Waingels has also achieved very strong results at the top end with almost a quarter of students achieving Grades 7-9.
