A Reading showroom for iconic American motorcycle company Harley-Davidson is facing closure.
Reading Harley-Davidson in 660 Wokingham Road, Earley, will 'likely' close on September 28, according to a statement from owners, the Lind Group.
The Lind Group is an official dealerships for BMW Motorrad, Harley-Davidson and Triumph Motorcycles across a range of locations throughout the UK.
Their Reading site - which deals with parts and repairs - opened in 2015, after being transformed from a MG Rover showroom and workshop.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Lind Group said: "We wish to share the important news that LIND has decided to consolidate our Harley-Davidson business.
"As a result Watford Harley-Davidson will close on the 28th September and Reading Harley-Davidson has entered a period of consultation with a likely closure date of 28th September 2024.
"This decision has not come lightly and has come after a period of serious consideration.
"For now, it's business as usual. If you have any queries please contact the teams in-store and we're here to help."
The Lind Group was approached for further comment.
