Hundreds of millennials flocked to the main stage last night (23/8) where Blink 182 wowed crowds with their return to Reading Festival.
A known regular at the world-renowned event, the band was on fire as they started their hour-long set at around 9:45.
Although the festival is thought to draw a slightly younger crowd, it seemed that most of the hardcore fans comprised of millennials who remembered their music from their childhood and adolescence.
Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge riled up the crowd with their mix of familiarity, humor and talent.
This reporter was one of the lucky few to enjoy their set in front of the stage where several mosh pits could be seen for some of the more upbeat songs.
Although the crowd was slightly older, it was thrilling to see some Gen Z’s enjoying the music which has become a fan favourite over the years.

Although their set started off slightly slow - in this reporter's opinion - the three soon had the crowd rocking out to some of their bangers.
In a dramatic send-off, the band finished their performance at Reading Festival with an emotional performance that encapsulated their journey and their reunion as lifelong friends.
For many, Blink 182 ended an incredible Friday of music at Reading Festival with a bang.
