Renee Rap has been forced to stop her set at Reading Festival after water was seen falling by the roof of the main stage.

The singer began her set on the main stage at Reading Festival this afternoon with festival goers excited to see her perform.

After having to stop twice, a message appeared on the screen saying: “We need to stop the show for a few minutes and hope to restart shortly.”

Some people in the crowd noticed smoke coming from stage. It is thought that water falling from the roof dropped onto the sound equipment.

This however has not been confirmed.
