A Prada handbag, cash and a retainer are among the random items left behind at Reading Festival this year.

An entrepreneurial content creator has been combing though tents at Richfield Avenue to see what goodies he could find.

And Ethan Overton was in luck as he found brand new camping items, a designer handbag and an iPhone on Monday.

The five-day music event came to an end after some 100,000 music lovers descended on the town for the popular annual event.

In recent years the clean-up operation has gathered nearly as much attention as the festival itself and treasure-hunting for items left behind has become increasingly common.

Ethan, who makes videos on video sharing app TikTok, uploaded his finds to his 138,600 followers.

And the video was a hit, gaining some six million views for the short clip.

Although most of the rubbish left was a mixture of leftover food and broken tents, the Tiktoker did come across a variety of surprising finds.

This includes:

  • Voyager camping seat
  • £10
  • Brand new gas barbeque
  • Solar powered power bank
  • Suitcase
  • Retainer
  • Top golf membership
  • $5
  • Prada bag with change
  • Cooking pans
  • Brand new ground sheet
  • iPhone

Despite the urge to keep it, Ethan handed the iPhone into the volunteers on site in the hope that its owner could be found.

Many of the most valuable items were found hidden underneath the rubbish left on the site by campers and festivalgoers.

He ended the video by saying: “All I got was the £10 and the few pound coins. I might get myself a Maccy’s on the way home. Successful trip”.
