Thousands of festival-goers are set to take to the streets of Reading this weekend to celebrate the annual Reading Pride celebrations.

From sunrise to sunset, an array of live entertainment will perform on both the main stage and the Pride aLive stage to delight audiences all day long following a parade across the town and ending at Kings Meadow.

Main Stage

Experience an unending array of live entertainment on our Main Stage, featuring a dynamic lineup of performers ready to delight audiences all day long. From enchanting choirs to captivating drag performances, and a diverse range spanning pop, reggae, and grime, there’s something to suit every palate. All of this excitement is masterfully hosted by some of Reading Pride’s cherished queens, ensuring an unforgettable and inclusive experience for all.

Pride aLive Stage

For the eighth year running, Reading Pride is very proud to welcome back our incredible Pride aLive stage.  We have a strong and vibrant music scene here in Reading with many bands and acts on the cusp of breaking into the professional industry.  This year the Pride aLive Stage has been gratefully sponsored by SSE.

Road Closures – Saturday 31st August 2024 (10:30am – 12:30pm)

As you may be aware, the Reading Pride Love Unites Festival will be held on Saturday 31st August 2024. As part of the festival, we will be holding our annual parade, which will depart Reading Station at 11:00hrs. 

The parade will require the temporary closure of several roads within Reading town centre. However, as a resident or business within the road closure area, access will be granted to yourselves and any visitors. As stated above, the roads will be closed between 10:30hrs and 12:30hrs, or until we are reasonably able to remove them to restore access.

Reading Pride would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our free festival. The Reading LGBT+ Pride Festival is taking place in Kings Meadow Park, Napier Road on Saturday, 4th September and is open to the public from midday to 7.30pm.
