Crowe UK, a leading audit, tax, advisory, and risk firm, is pleased to announce the addition of John Manis as a new partner in its Workforce Advisory team.
With over 15 years of experience, John brings significant expertise to Crowe’s Workforce Advisory practice in Reading and across the UK. His background in employee share schemes, employee ownership trusts, and advising management teams on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) will further bolster the firm’s offerings. John specializes in tax and executive incentivization advice, particularly in the taxation of investment funds, including carried interest and co-investment. In his new role, he will advise companies and employees on setting up tax-advantaged incentivization structures and equity plans, as well as work closely with investment funds on their advisory structures and transactions.
John's expertise extends beyond his work with clients. He is an active member of the income tax sub-committee of the Law Society and is frequently involved in governmental discussions on new legislation impacting the taxation of employment income and investment funds. His involvement in these areas ensures that Crowe remains at the forefront of the industry, providing cutting-edge advice to its clients.
John joins Crowe at a pivotal time, following recent announcements by the government regarding changes to the tax treatment of carried interest and potential modifications to capital gains tax. His arrival will help Crowe navigate these changes and continue to provide top-tier advisory services to its clients.
Nigel Bostock, Chief Executive of Crowe, expressed his enthusiasm for John’s appointment: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome John to the partnership. His arrival is a testament to our commitment to attracting top talent, and I am confident that his wealth of experience will drive the Workforce Advisory team to new heights. Welcome, John.”
Dinesh Jangra, Partner in the Workforce Advisory team at Crowe, added: “John’s arrival is incredibly timely for our team. His deep knowledge and experience will not only enhance our national workforce advisory capabilities but also strengthen our advisory services in several key areas and markets.”
Commenting on his new role, John Manis said, “I am thrilled to join Crowe and contribute to the continued growth of the Workforce Advisory practice. I look forward to building on the excellent work that Dinesh and the team have already accomplished.” He added, "Together, we aim to deliver even greater value and innovative solutions to our clients in the evolving landscape of workforce advisory."
