A Reading bank will be opening its doors this weekend to provide advice on savings.
Yorkshire Building Society, located on Friar Street, will be open from 9am to 12pm on Saturday, September 14.
This is to help people make the most of UK Savings Week, an annual campaign that highlights the benefits of saving.
The branch will be welcoming both existing members and new customers who wish to open an account or review their current savings.
The team will be available to provide information on savings, open accounts, and offer advice.
Existing customers can also visit the branch to deposit and top up their savings accounts.
Yorkshire Building Society is opening all its branches to ensure potential savers have the opportunity to speak with branch teams and learn about their options.
Chris Irwin, director of savings at Yorkshire Building Society, said: "UK Savings Week is an important event in the calendar, to help people establish new savings habits, or make sure their savings are working hard for them.
"We know accessing help and support from our branch teams is important for our customers, so by opening our branches on Saturday 14 September we hope many would-be savers who might need a helping hand starting their savings journeys will be able to take advantage."
The branch will also be hosting events throughout the week, including fraud and scams awareness sessions (September 13), and a digital focus day (September 11). There will also be sessions for existing customers on September 10 and 12 to make sure they are making the most of their savings.
