An exciting new activities centre will open its doors very soon after a massive revamp of its former premises.
Oxygen Reading, which was previously Red Kangaroo, is a completely refurbished version of the previous site with new state-of-the-art equipment.
Oxygen Reading will be home to thirty-two trampolines, parkour-style stunt areas, a mega air-bag, a trapeze, and an interactive sports pitch.
The new site will officially open to the public on October 4, and the team cannot wait to introduce everyone to the new and improved centre.
A person who has been closely working with the developers of Oxygen Reading, said that the new space is going to be 'mega' and is now not just a trampoline park.
"It's going to have all these new activities that are brand new to the brand as well," they said. "It will have a dedicated area for toddlers, with trampettes and a mini obstacle course, creating a mini-park just for little ones rather than a soft play area.”
Every week, Oxygen Reading will host dedicated sessions, specially tailored for toddlers to support their development and for those with sensory or learning difficulties.
They also said that the company is also keeping on all of the staff from before as well as introducing new roles, so the same friendly faces that were there at Red Kangaroo will remain.
Once opened, the venue will feature activities and zones that are completely new to the Oxygen Activeplay brand, which has eight other sites across the country.
The new activities include the Gauntlet Run, which will allow jumpers to compete in a series of obstacles and challenges in a race against the clock, and a new Toddler Zone will include mini trampettes, a mini air-bag, an obstacle course and a ball pool.
They said "Red Kangaroo has been under the Oxygen umbrella for quite some time. We are promoting this active play concept which looks in particular at how children can stay healthy and active through play.
"We see that play should be made as beneficial as it can be."
Oxygen Reading will be offering hourly sessions which can be booked online. Groups can also book out the entire centre for a party.
Last week the company released all these new party packages which include a variety of different things.
These include the one hour of active play along with food, a dedicated host, and a party room.
