A water dispenser full of what appears to be polluted water and condoms has been left outside Thames Water's HQ in Reading.
The water dispenser - branded with a Thames Water logo sticker - appeared outside the water company's HQ in Vastern Road on Saturday evening and was still in place by Sunday night.
The dispenser had been wrapped in black and yellow hazard warning tape.
Several protests have targeted the water company's HQ this summer, amid the firm being hit by a series of multi-million pound fines for dumping sewage in waterways.
Activists from Extinction Rebellion staged a "toilet sit-in" on the Christchurch Bridge on June 15.
Several weeks later, River Action and Surfers Against Sewage staged a "paddle-out" protest on the River Thames right by the company's office block.
Thames Water was fined £104 million at the start of last month, as regulator Ofwat found that effluent was “routinely” flowing into rivers and seas.
After years of overflowing sewers and sewage dumped in scenic water ways, residents across the region told The Reading Chronicle that they were “disgusted” with Thames Water’s plans to raise water bills – and warned the price hike could spark fresh protests.
Thames Water has been contacted to comment.
