A new crepe restaurant that will open very soon at The Oracle in Reading's town centre is currently advertising for waiting staff before it finally welcomes customers.

Creperie Doux Sourire, which was previously Starbucks, by Vue Cinema currently sports several signs on its doors revealing that they are hiring.

The new roles include a reliable chef, baristas, and runners.

The sign also clearly states that the new employees will be entitled to a paycheck of £12 an hour depending on experience.

They are looking for full-time positions with an annual holiday allowance of 28 days per year.

They will also get a discount of 50% and a share of tips from the customers.

The manager of the restaurant has posted the following words underneath the advert:

"We are looking to build a great team at our new restaurant here at The Oracle with vibrant, polite, positive and energetic team members."

Since it was revealed that the new place would be opening, the restaurant has taken leaps and bounds in getting ready to serve customers.

Tables and chairs are visible from the outside of the restaurant along with gold signage and lettering on the windows.

Big white circular lights also now hang from the creperie's ceiling.

Creperie Doux Sourire, which currently has one location in Windsor, is set to open its second bakery at The Oracle Riverside.

The business is known for serving up crepes, waffles, wines and more to diners in the Royal town.

Creperie Doux Sourire has taken over the unit previously occupied by Starbucks, which closed down in April.

A sign for the creperie has already appeared, with further decoration work due to take place in the coming weeks.

In preparation for opening, a company called Larot 1 has applied to sell alcohol on and off the premises from 11am to 11pm each day.

It has also applied to play recorded music from 11am to 9pm each day as well.

Reading Borough Council is holding a public consultation on activities that have been applied for.

You can comment on the application by emailing licensing@reading.gov.uk. The deadline for representations is Wednesday, September 25.

Creperie Doux Sourire is currently located at the Windsor Royal Yards shopping centre.

Since closing at The Oracle Riverside, Starbucks has retained a number of locations in Reading.

Sites include a kiosk at the upper mall inside The Oracle, the Butter Market in the town centre, and Reading Link Retail Park.
