I, like many others, did not get tickets to see Taylor Swift perform live at one of the venues on her Eras Tour.

Despite loving Taylor's earlier hits, I somehow couldn't justify forking hundreds out for a less than average seat to watch Miss Swift sing 'You Belong with Me' or 'Fearless.'

However, I genuinely think I have found the next best thing, and it only cost me twenty-eight pounds.

Katy Ellis, a self-obsessed ‘Swiftie’ with an incredible live band and dancers, put on a phenomenal performance of 'Taylormania' last night Friday, September 20 at Reading's Hexagon.

The show from start to finish consisted of the actual Era's tour setlist (except a little shorter with some songs missed out) which Ellis performed with flare and vigour.

She even matched her outfits to the ones Taylor wore on the tour down to her knee-high sparkly boots.

The crowd, which I can only describe as one of the best crowds I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of, consisted pretty much solely of mothers and their young daughters.

Each little girl would scream incessantly when Ellis went off and on stage, and there was many a dancing in the aisles moment.

It was a blast. Hannah Rawsthorn, who was there for a girly night out with her friend Chloe Griffiths, said "It's actually really amazing. What I personally love is seeing all the little ones and how much they're enjoying it.

"So wholesome. They really do believe that she is Taylor Swift up on that stage."

Ellis was also joined by a cohort of incredible dancers who matched each of her numerous outfit changes and performed wonderfully.

One of the dancers Olivia Galvin, 28, said that she is having an incredible time performing with Ellis, and has been dancing since she was three.

"The show is incredible and it is so amazing to be a part of it," she said. "We get to recreate the Eras' Tour for people who maybe didn't get tickets which is just so special.

"We get so many people returning because they have loved it so much."
