Flood warning for Mill Brook from the Hagbourne Mill area to Winterbrook
Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the Mill Brook as a result of heavy rainfall.
Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected imminently this morning September 23, especially in areas closest to the river in Blewbury. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to rise steadily into the early afternoon. The goverment's staff are checking and clearing trash screens.

Flood alert for River Thames and its tributaries from Days Lock to above Pangbourne
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels have risen on the Mill Brook, a tributary of the River Thames as a result of heavy rain. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected from this morning, especially in the areas closest to the Mill Brook in the Blewbury area.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the coming 18 hours. The government expects river levels to rise into this afternoon before stabilising. Levels on the River Thames remain below the flood risk threshold.
