Reports have come in that drivers in Sonning can expect up to an hour's delay as a pipe has exploded in the middle of the road.
Work is currently being carried out to mend the broken pipe which is close to Hollywood Actor George Clooney's Sonning mansion.
AA Live currently shows backed-up traffic all along the B478 all the way up to Playhatch Road.
The traffic queue is substantial going up Sonning Bridge, Mill Lane in Sonning. Drivers are warned that the delay may take some time, and those who can should avoid the area all together.
