The Met Office yesterday Sunday, September 29, released a yellow weather warning for the southeast with continued torrential rain on the way for much of Berkshire.
With that in mind, here is the government's most up-to-date full list of flood warnings for Berkshire.
The current alerts for the county are as follows:
Flood alert for River Thames from Pangbourne to Purley
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high on the River Thames as a result of heavy rainfall although they did drop in this area yesterday. However, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
Today will start out dry followed by rain this evening and overnight. Showers are possible throughout Monday. We expect river levels to remain high over the next 24-48 hours as water moves downstream.
Flood alert for River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high on the River Thames as a result of heavy rainfall although they did drop in this area yesterday.
However, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
Today will start out dry followed by rain this evening and overnight. Showers are possible throughout Monday. We expect river levels to remain high over the next 24-48 hours as water moves downstream.
Flood alert for Lower River Loddon
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are forecast to rise on the River Loddon following heavy rainfall overnight. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected later this afternoon, especially in the Sindlesham Mill area.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to rise until tomorrow morning.
Flood alert for Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence at Twyford
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels remain high but are beginning to slowly fall on the River Loddon following a period of sustained rainfall. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today, especially in the Loddon Drive area of Wargrave, with flooding of roads affecting access to properties.
Flood alert for River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high but steady on the River Thames following a period of sustained rainfall. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, especially in the Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave areas.
Flood alert for River Thames for Henley, Remenham, Medmenham and its tributaries
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high but steady on the River Thames following a period of sustained rainfall. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, especially in the Henley, Remenham, and Medmenham areas.
Flood alert for River Thames from Hurley to Cookham
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high but steady on the River Thames following a period of sustained rainfall. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today, especially in the Hurley, Marlow and Bourne End areas.
