Reading Borough Council has been sharing an event that is currently ongoing today that looks to build bridges and keep the older generation vitalised.
Today Tuesday, October 1, staff from various organisations will be at Broad Street Mall for the council's Older People's Day.
The event is attended by various organisations who will be giving advice for people to stay healthy and well for longer with Age UK Berkshire.
A spokesperson for the could recently posted on social media a photograph of attendees at the event which is allegedly in "full swing."
Along with the photograph of everyone enjoying the event, the spokesperson wrote the following statement:
"Older People's Day 2024 is officially in full swing at Broad Street Mall today.
"Come along to find out about the organisations who may be able to help you stay healthy and well for longer with Age UK Berkshire
"Here until 2pm."
