With half-term just round the corner, parents will be on the hunt for fun things to do.
And there are two exciting shows at a theatre 35 minutes from Reading that are ideal to keep little ones entertained.
Basingstoke-based Anvil Arts has two great productions on offer at The Haymarket for the family to enjoy later this month.
On Sunday, October 27, Milkshake! Live is back with a brand-new show, so join Milkshake! Live on Holiday at one of two performances, 12noon and 3.30pm.
Catch your favourite friends from Channel 5’s flagship Milkshake! on holiday with Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol, Dora, Pip, and Posy, Blue from Blues Clues and You!, Milo, Milkshake! Monkey, plus two of your Milkshake! presenters for an all-new adventure.
The presenters on their way to The Haymarket are David Ribi, who played Peter Pan in last year’s pantomime at The Anvil, alongside Jen Pringle.
Pack your bags and jump aboard as we go on an all-singing, all-dancing holiday together - a fantastic family show not to be missed.
While Dear Zoo Live!, based on the popular book by Rod Campbell, returns to Basingstoke for three performances across Monday to Tuesday, October 28 and 29.
Watch as our characters write to the Zoo – but who will be delivered? A cheeky monkey, a jumpy frog, and of course, a perfect puppy. Help your children learn as the book leaps onto the stage, and share a magical experience as the story unfolds with child-engaging puppets, music, and lots of audience interaction.
Rod Campbell is the master of interactive storytelling, and an expert in early learning for pre-schoolers. As a trusted household name, his books have stood the test of time and continue to be a staple addition to the family bookshelf, and a popular choice for early years' teachers. The creator of more than 200 books for children, Rod Campbell's ability to be both fun and reassuring encourages children to discover and delight in the world around them.
