Drivers in and around Berkshire will have several National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with most of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 8pm July 17 2023 to 6am October 16 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 12 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for major improvement work.

• M4, from 11pm May 9 2024 to 6am March 31 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 12 to junction 10, 24/7 lane closures for major improvement work.

• M4, from 8pm October 7 to 6am October 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 11, Lane closures for technology work.

• M4, from 10pm October 7 to 5.30am October 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5, carriageway closure for resurfacing works, diversion via local authorities.
