A Reading driver was taken into custody after failing to stop for police twice during a late night police chase.
On Sunday, October 6, officers from Thames Valley Police in Reading followed the dangerous driver on a pursuit from Bath Road into the Woodley area after evading the police earlier in the evening.
After coming to a dead end on a dirt road, the man attempted to exit the vehicle to escape on foot but was stopped by one of the police dogs on duty that night.
Officers from Thames Valley Police noted that after the driver attempted to run away, the dog handler released PD Solo who captured the offender.
A spokesperson from Thames Velley Police said: “Following some treatment for some shark bites, we now have one unhappy customer in custody.”
The drivers poor navigational skills and inadequate driver skills were responsible for his capture.
