A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the M4 between Wokingham and Maidenhead.
At around 12pm today (Tuesday, October 8) a black Honda motorbike collided with a white Seat Ibiza on the M4 westbound between junctions 8/9 and 10.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his fifties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Investigating officer PC Jonathan Housby, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage that captured the incident, or the moments leading up to it, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“You can contact us by calling us on 101, or by reporting online via our website, quoting reference 43240483897.”
Road users faced significant delays as emergency services dealt with the incident, closing several lanes westbound between junctions 8 and 10.
All lanes have now reopened.
