The most dangerous streets in Reading have been revealed.
Statistics for the latest month available (August) reveals that 1729 crimes were reported in Reading alone.
The data on Police.UK covers areas such as Whitley, Tilehurst, Abby and Battle, and Theale.
Depending on the population, retail density and quality of living, different areas of Reading display different types of crimes.
Crimes defined as 'violent and sexual offences' made up the highest proportion of these reports.
In Abbey and Battle alone, which makes up a majority of Reading town centre, there were 256 incidents of violent and sexual offences, compared to 52 incidents of shoplifting.
We have made a map of the crimes reported to Thames Valley Police in August and where they took place.
This allows you to see where the most crimes have taken place.
