Police have found a body in their search for a man who had been reported missing from Reading more than a week ago.
Patrick, aged 59, was last seen at around 9.30am on Thursday, October 3, but a body has sadly been found in Essex, Thames Valley Police have said.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but Patrick’s family have been informed.
A spokesperson from Thames Valley Police said: "Our thoughts and sympathies are with his loved ones at this extremely difficult time.
"We and Essex Police are carrying out enquiries into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal to find Patrick."
