A lorry carrying hay-bales has become stuck under a railway bridge in central Reading, leading to long traffic queues around the incident.
The lorry struck the bridge, resulting in several large hay-bales to fall from the vehicle on to the road, in Caversham Road at around 12.30pm today.
Staff from a nearby timber firm have been helping to clear the road.
A Network Rail representative said that safety checks on the bridge were about to be carried out.
It's the second time in just over a month that the bridge has been struck by a vehicle, with an incident in September seeing cars damaged as a lorry hit the bridge.
