A Hunter's moon has been lighting up the sky across Berkshire this week - and we have some stunning photos that capture the incredible natural phenomenon.

This month's full is a known as a Hunter's Moon, which is a supermoon - a full moon nearest to the Earth in its orbit - and its also the brightest moon of the year.

This year’s Hunter’s Moon was seen best on Thursday October 17, and it will appear like a full moon for three days. The peak of the full moon on Thursday afternoon is when it is below the horizon in the UK, though in the evening and coming nights it will still look bright and mostly full.

The next supermoon is expected to be in the skies on November 15 – which will also be the last of the year.
