A brand-new budget supermarket will be opening soon in the heart of Woodley, much to the delight of local residents.
A small Morrisons is due to welcome customers on Thursday, November 7 on Loddon Bridge road.
This comes as a good deal of new businesses have been cropping up around the area, with a new farm shop, barbers, and cafe announcing their imminent arrival.

Speaking to the owner of Berkshire Village Farm Shop which is along the same line of stores, Andy De Beer said that the new Morrisons will have lots of new aspects.
He said that the Morrisons will be 'different' from the usual stores and Mr Singh plans to offer customers a range of new items.
"His Morrisons is due to have a beer cave, a bakery, and really good wines," Mr De Beer said.
"The setup is going to be very modern and different from other local stores and supermarkets."
The manager of the new Morrisons, Tej Singh, said he is very excited to start welcoming people in to see what they have been working on.
"We are looking forward to customers coming to see what we have been doing with the place," he said.

"Our grand opening will be on November 7 but we also plan to stagger it a bit as well."
Mr Singh went on to say that he has already received a great amount of positive feedback from the local community, with many allegedly telling him that an accessible supermarket was fervently needed.
"A lot of elderly people in the area have said that they are really pleased that we have decided to open," he said.
"They find it difficult to get to the other supermarkets which are a lot further away, so really do welcome a local one for convenience."
This comes as Mr De Beer opened Berkshire Village Farm Shop last Friday, October 18, and is super excited to welcome customers into the store.
"We're a butchery and deli that will also be serving an assortment of groceries," he said.

"We aim to have all of our lamb, chicken, pork, and beef sourced here in Berkshire and then we are also going to be doing lots of exotic things too.
"Elk, reindeer, zebra, crocodile, and all other funny things that are also sourced in the UK."
He went on to say that their range of biltong and dried horse is made with meat they procure from all over the country, and is all fresh, free-range, and grass-fed.
Mr De Beer described the front of the store as being equipped to sell groceries and the back being dedicated to displaying the different meats on offer, such as those listed above.
