An artisanal pizza restaurant and takeaway in Whitley has been going from strength to strength since opening its doors six months prior.
Dough Bros, situated next to Short Back & Vibes hair salon on Northumberland Avenue, has been praised by many for having some of the best pizzas in town.
Speaking directly to The Chronicle, pizzeria owner Max Brian-Boys, 27, said that things have been going well since they opened.

"I'm so grateful for the response we've had from the local community," Mr Brian-Boys said. "We've just been getting back-to-back fantastic reviews."
One happy customer who visited the independent said that Dough Bros is a must-visit place for foodies, and potentially has better pizza than anywhere in London.
They wrote: "Brilliant gem of a place. Independent, NY-style pizza that is as good if not better than anything you can get in London.
"This place is an independent pizza restaurant with free parking outside and it really smashes the product out of the park."

Mr Brian-Boys said that the business started out doing a lot of takeaways but he has since utilised his DIY skills to improve the interior, so a lot more people are now eating in.
During September of this year, the restaurant saw a full house almost every weekend - staggering for a business outside of the city centre.
"I can't believe it to be honest. I feel like we have really struck a cord within the community, and they see us as somewhere you can walk into and are greeted with a warm smile," he said.

"It's cool to be on the frontier of building Whitley into a place where we can, and should, be proud of because it is such a fantastic area populated by such fantastic people."
Mr Brian-Boys went on to say that he feels that the businesses in the neighbourhood have been often outshined by those in the town centre, and this is something he wants to change.
He said that he feels the centre of Reading is overrun with chains, and that independents like his differ from them as they are run by people who really care about the ambience and food.
