A Grade II listed pub in Newbury has gone on the market - and it could be yours for £450,000.
The King Charles Tavern is on the market for sale or to let - free of ties to a brewery - for £26,000 a year in rent.
The pub is being sold through estate agents Savills, which describes the venue as an 'attractive Grade II listed pub in the affluent market town of Newbury' with 'good sized internal trading area for approximately 58 covers'.

Writing on the listing, a representative from Savills said: "The ground floor trading area is in good standard throughout and comprises a main bar/ restaurant area with approximately 58 covers with informal drinking at the main bar area.

The pub fronts Cheap Street which Savills promotes as being 'close to a variety of independent and national retailers, The Kennet Centre (shopping centre) and Newbury train station'.
The listing also highlights that "Newbury train station provides excellent connectivity to London Paddington is under 45 minutes."

Currently the pub has 126 reviews on Trip Advisor, with 75 "Excellent" five-star reviews - and six "Terrible" one-star reviews.
Of the recent reviews, one from August gave the venue two-stars, saying it is 'not as good as it was' - but a review from May said it is an 'excellent traditional style pub with a great selection of cask ales'.
The reviewer added: "Our host Louise had a vast knowledge of the ales on sale as well as the gins on offer."
