Emergency services rushed to a house in Newtown following reports of a kitchen fire in the property.
The incident occurred at around 7:30pm on Saturday, October 19 on Cumberland Road in Reading.
Crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham fire stations were called to the scene after reports of the blaze.

A spokesperson for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: “Upon arrival, crews found that a small fire in the kitchen of the property was out on arrival. After ventilating the property, one person was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
“They were on scene for approximately 35 minutes.”
