Thames Valley Police have been once again highlighting the excellent work of their officers who have been out and about supporting the local community.

Two officers have been showing their support to a beloved local amenity that looks to fix people's bicycles - an expense that otherwise would be costly.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police revealed that both PCSO C9558 and C9560 have been out supporting Dr Bike at Hexham Community centre as they conduct services to people's bikes.

They posted a number of photographs on social media of the event along with a caption thanking the two officers for their diligent service.

They also gave information on the kinds of services Dr Bike gives.

They said "PCSO C9558 and C9560 are supporting Dr Bike at Hexham Community centre this evening.

"So far brakes have been repaired and flat tyres sorted! We've been given out safety advice and children's Bike safety kits."
