Great Western Railway is advising customers to only travel if absolutely necessary between Reading and Didcot this weekend (3/11).
Alongside engineering works and short-notice track works this will significantly affect services between Paddington and South Wales.
GWR said: “The Pre-planned engineering works between Reading and Didcot will already significantly affect our ability to run services between London Paddington, BristolTemple Meads and South Wales.
“Services that do run are expected to be very busy. Customers are advised to only travel if absolutely necessary.”
Changes will not be shown on train timetables until Sunday morning due to short notice of some of these changes.
