Celebrity support will mark 15 years of the top London carol concert.
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is holding its 15th annual celebrity-studded London Carol Concert at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, on December 5.
The event aims to raise essential funds for families caring for a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
The charity pairs each family with an expert family support worker who provides practical and emotional support, whenever needed, for as long as needed.
The much-loved radio presenter and broadcaster, Jane Garvey, known for her work on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and her daily weekday show on Times Radio, will host the event.
The evening will see appearances from actress Olivia Williams, known for her role as Camilla Parker Bowles in The Crown, tennis star Annabel Croft, and broadcaster Angela Rippon CBE.
Christmas music from soprano Margaret Keys, saxophonist Rob Burton, and the Elstree School Choir will fill the air.
A highlight of the evening will be a reading by seven-year-old Jaxson, who has been supported by Rainbow Trust since February 2023 after his diagnosis of leukaemia at the age of three.
He will be attending the concert with his parents and sister.
Oonagh Goodman, director of fundraising and marketing at Rainbow Trust, said: "We are really looking forward to celebrating and welcoming guests, readers, and musicians to our 15th annual carol concert, which is one of our most admired and popular fundraising events.
"This event will get people into the festive spirit while fundraising for an immensely important cause, meaning our family support workers can help those families have the best Christmas possible."
Hundreds of guests are expected to attend the event, which will feature festive readings and music.
Ms Goodman added: "Christmas can often be one of the hardest times of the year for the families we support, and we are so grateful that Jaxson is able to attend and read for us."
The concert will commence at 6pm, with attendees welcomed with mulled wine and mince pies.
The evening will be set against a candlelit backdrop, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Tickets for the concert cost £45 each, or £25 for those under 25.
They can be purchased online.
This annual concert is one of Rainbow Trust's most popular fundraising events, helping them continue their vital work.
It promises to be a memorable evening filled with music, readings, and a sense of community spirit, all for a good cause.
Attendees are encouraged to book early to secure their place.
