Police have responded to a recent spate of egg-throwing incidents in Burghfield Common, as officers call on shops to be restrict sales to youths around Halloween.
Shops have been issued with a poster that say 'Halloween - we reserve the right not to sell flour and eggs to anyone under 18'.
A spokesperson from Thames Valley Police said: "Due to recent incidents of egg throwing in Burghfield Common the local Pangbourne Neighbourhood Team have been out visiting shops and reminding them about selling eggs to young persons.
"Also in the run up to Halloween we have provided shops with posters to be placed on the relevant shelving.
"We will continue to work hard to reduce Anti- social behaviour in the area."
