The family of a woman who was found unresponsive near Caversham Bridge has said they are 'beyond grateful' for the community's support, as they pay tribute to 'truly kind and selfless' woman.
An inquest earlier this month ruled that Tracy Jane Saiao, 55, had tragically taken her own life after she had stepped into the River Thames on April 29.
The inquest heard how the grandmother had just moved into her 'dream home' overlooking the countryside in Bugs Bottom - but she had been suffering from depression and wanted to cut down her hours working at Mercedes Benz.
Now she will be remembered as 'a wonderful wife, a loving Mumma, a great Nanny, and an admired friend', Tracy's family have said in a loving tribute.
Writing on behalf of her sisters and loved-ones, Tracy's daughter Alice said: "Our beautiful Mum, Tracy, was a truly kind, selfless, generous woman.
"She was a devoted wife to our Dad, Fran. A loving mother to myself and my two younger sisters, Hannah and Ella.
"She also became a Nanny for the first time last year when my daughter Astrid was born. Becoming a Nanny brought a new joy to her that words cannot describe."
Tracy was "a very loved and respected member of the team" at Mercedes-Benz Reading - where she met her husband in 1988.
"I’m so grateful we grew up watching such a loving and devoted pair," Alice said in the family tribute.
She added: "Over the last several months, we have heard so many loving tributes that summed her up perfectly as the selfless, loving person she was.
"Mum loved a cheeky joke, having a sing song and dance, and she had the most infectious giggle!
"I am proud that Mum has left behind a legacy of strong, caring, amazing women. We are who we are because of her."
The family also extended its gratitude for the support shown from friends and members of the community following Tracy's death.
Alice said: "Those who took the time to send their condolences, shared their sadness and memories, as well as give their support through what has truly been the most unimaginable time - thank you for the hot meals, the flowers, the shoulders to cry on and the many cups of tea and chats.
"We are beyond grateful for it all."
She added: "There is nothing left to say except, we will all miss you so much Mum. As a wonderful wife, a loving Mumma, a great Nanny and a much admired friend and colleague. I know you will keep a watch over us all.
"Rest now, until we meet again."
