The Purple Turtle has launched its first business networking event.
The town centre venue saw over 20 businesses gather on Tuesday, October 29, marking the start of its Purple Business Networking series.
The attendees included representatives from local firms such as Select Car Leasing, Shoosmiths, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Malmaison Hotels, Citibase, Frasers Office Innovation, Walk Works, Time Finance, Bespoke Estate Agents, Reading BID, and others.

The new networking initiative aims to foster connections and collaboration among businesses.
The Purple Turtle has announced that these networking events will become a regular fixture, taking place every other Tuesday.
Following the success of the inaugural meeting, the next gathering is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, starting at 5.30pm.
The meeting fee is set at £5, but attendees also have the option to pay £25 in advance for six credits to use at future meetings.

This initiative by the Purple Turtle is seen as a move to strengthen the business community in Reading, providing a space where businesses of various sizes and sectors can come together.
