National Highways has reported several road closure and lane closures across Berkshire this week.
From emergency works to structure inspections, all are thought to cause disruptions for drivers on the M4.
Although disruptions are expected, most repairs take place at night in order to prevent too much disruption.
Below is the list of road closures that are taken place in the evening over the 4th, 5th and 6th November.
M4-Eastbound
M4 eastbound Jct 11 to Jct 10 carriageway closure
Overall Scheme Details: M4 eastbound Jct 11 to Jct 10. Carriageway closure for structural inspections.
Works will go on from 9pm (4/11) -6am (5/11).
M4-Westbound
M4 westbound Jct 12 entry slip road closure.
Overall Scheme Details: M4 both directions Jct 12. Slip road and lane closures for structures work.
Works will go on from 9pm – 6am
M4 – Both Directions
M4 both directions Jct 6, slip road closures.
Overall Scheme Details: M4 both directions Jct 6. Slip road closures for vegetation clearance.
Works will go on from 9pm October 17 to 6am November 9,
M4 Westbound
M4 Westbound, Jct 6
Overall scheme delays: M4 Westbound Jct 6. Lane closure for technology works. Around 10 minute delays.
Works will go on from 8pm (4/11) to 6am (5/11).
M4 Eastbound
M4 Eastbound Jct 12 to Jct 8/9
Overall Scheme Delays: M4 eastbound, junction 12 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for major improvement work.
Works from 8pm July 17 2023 to 6am November 30 2024.
Slight delays (under 10 minutes).
