Workmen were spotted in Reading Town Centre on Tuesday evening (November 5) assembling the Christmas lights.
Vans were parked in Broad Street at about 10pm and being unloaded were large lights shaped like bells, candles and more.
However, the lights in the town centre will not be turned on until Saturday, November 16.
