TV presenter Sangeeta Bhabra is set to host the NHS Christmas Concert.
The event will take place at Reading Minster Church on Friday, December 6.
With a focus on spreading festive cheer, the concert aims to support a significant cause this year.
The West Berkshire Breast Screening Programme has launched a fundraising campaign to gather £130,000 for a new mammography machine.

This machine is expected to improve the early detection of breast cancer, enhancing patient outcomes and providing vital support to the community.
The concert will feature performances from Rock Choir, a capella group Avenue, Newtown Primary School Choir, and the Royal Berkshire Hospital Staff Choir.
Rock Choir was the winner of the ‘Let’s Sing Reading 2024’ competition.
Attendees can look forward to an evening of festive music and song.
Residents can also look forward to an evening of laughter with performances from comedians Rich Wilson, Quincy, Alistair Williams, and Darius Davies, Friday 6 December at 19.30.
Tickets for the comedy show are already on sale with a limited number of discounted tickets at £10 available.
Guests are encouraged to come and join for a evening of laughter and dance under one roof, and grab a drink before the performance begin.

To further spread the festive spirit, Reading Rep Theatre will present a Christmas show inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s well-loved folktale.
The show promises to be a blend of original music and vibrant characters, promising to captivate all ages.
Set in the picturesque mid-winters of Odense, Denmark, the story follows the adventure of Gerda, who braves icy landscapes to find her best friend, Kai, who mysteriously disappears.
Gerda and Kai's friendship are put to the test in a tale of courage and determination as Gerda ventures to save Kai.
The audience will be taken on a journey filled with bandits, friendly reindeers, and a face-off with the Snow Queen who reigns supreme.

The tale is expected to be a heart-warming reminder of the values of courage and determination as Gerda must come face to face with her greatest fears.
The family friendly show aims to captivate audiences this festive season, and even teach guests some crow along the way.
