Police are warning residents after jewellery theft in Woodley.
Thames Valley Police said: "Thames Valley Police received a report of theft between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Tuesday, 22 October in Woodley.
"The offender entered a property on Loddon Bridge Road, under the false pretence of evaluating prices of jewellery.
"The victim, a woman in her sixties, left the offender unattended in her home and he stole a large quantity of sentimental jewellery.
"The offender then legitimately purchased a few items of jewellery from the victim, but underpaid and left."
