Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted near Thatcham train station.
The incident happened around 2pm on Tuesday, November 5 on Station Road, Thatcham.
An Asian man reportedly grabbed the woman’s shoulder and attempted to kiss her.
The offender has been described as a 5ft 6ins Asian man with a short stubbly beard, and was seen to be wearing a knee length brown robe and a thick black puffer coat.
Investigating officer PC Glenn Turner, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this sexual assault incident to please come forward.
“Anyone with information or footage relating to the incident should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240535291.
“Alternatively, for anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
