A new Christmas lights display will officially be unveiled in Reading on November 16.
The festive season will kick off with the lights switch-on and a market.
There will be food, drink, craft stalls, and live music from 12.30pm.
This year, Reading has a new Christmas light display made up of 800,000 LED lights.
It will celebrate Reading's history, from Henry I and Oscar Wilde to the No.
17 bus and Reading Football Club.
The lights are funded by Reading town centre businesses through Reading BID.
The season's highlights include Reading's Lantern Parade, GLOW, on December 7.
There will be live music, stilt walkers, children's storytime, and visits from Father Christmas on December 22.
Reading's Hexagon will host a pantomime, Cinderella, starring Justin Fletcher, beginning on December 7.
Reading's Winter Wonderland will return to Hills Meadow from November 9.
For those interested in meeting Santa, his grotto will be open at Broad Street Mall from November 22.
The Wellington Illuminova light trail will also return to Wellington Country Park from November 22.
The Snow Queen will open at Reading Rep on November 29.
Reading's Christmas market stalls will be in Broad Street every day from November 16 until December 31.
A spokesman for Reading BID said: "The Reading Christmas Lights are funded by Reading town centre businesses through Reading BID."
They also highlighted the town's connectivity, saying there are "trains a plenty, an award-winning bus network, park and rides extending all over the greater Reading region, and plenty of parking right in the centre of town."
