An exhibition exploring the creation of public artwork is now on display.
Art Space in St Nicolas, in Sutcliffe Avenue, Earley, is hosting the 'Seeds and Surfaces' exhibition by artists Rachael Champion and Jonathan Trayte.
Ms Champion makes site-specific artworks that explore the physical, material, and historical relationships between ecology, industry, and the built environment.
Mr Trayte from Huddersfield, is a sculpturer and studied at the Royal Academy of Art.
It features their research and development work for a new project in the Reading Station area.
Based on the results of an online survey, the artists selected nine seeds significant to Reading, and their textures will inspire the forthcoming artwork.
The exhibition explains the artists' choices, and also shows surfaces recorded by microscopy.
The display is located in the foyer of St Nicolas Community Centre and will be available for viewing until the end of November.
You can view the exhibition on most weekdays and on Saturday, November 23, from 1pm to 4pm.
The community centre's opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Friday from 9am to 4.30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
